ZTE has only launched a few handsets in the United States and the Axon 7 happens to be one of them. It’s a high-end smartphone that recently received an update to Android 7.1.1 Nougat. ZTE continues to improve the features that this handset offers. It has now released a new update for the device which adds a Night Mode and also brings support for 256GB microSD cards.
ZTE is finally rolling out the much-awaited Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Axon 7. It was previously reported that the company will send out this update in January but that didn’t happen. Nevertheless, owners will be glad that they didn’t have to wait for much longer after the expected timeline passed. ZTE has now released the Nougat update for any and all Axon 7 users.
ZTE is a pretty well-known brand in China but it’s not exactly a household name outside of the People’s Republic. The company is looking to fix that to an extent this year by setting up 23 retail stores across Europe and China. It’s going to use the stores to drive smartphone sales. The new locations will be spread across China and Europe, even Russia and Mexico have made the list.
