Samsung released the new Galaxy A (2017) series earlier this year, months after Google released Android 7.0 Nougat. However, since the company wanted the Galaxy S8 to be its first smartphone to come with Nougat out of the box, it launched the Galaxy A (2017) handsets with Marshmallow. The company has now started rolling out the Galaxy A7 (2017) Nougat update, finally.
It was reported recently that Samsung might soon release the much-awaited Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Galaxy A5 (2017) and the Galaxy A7 (2017). Both premium mid-range smartphones were released earlier this year. Samsung is yet to confirm when it will start rolling out said update for these handsets but now there’s mounting circumstantial evidence to suggest that the release is not that far off.
