If you don’t want to spend the night or early morning lining up in front of the T-Mobile store just to get your hands on the Nokia Lumia 710 when it launches, an eBay user, pimptology2000 has got a solution for you. The eBay seller recently put up for auction a brand new Nokia 710 designated for T-Mobile. Apparently the seller won the phone from Nokia and doesn’t need it, […]
So we know that the Nokia Lumia 710 will be launched in the US on T-Mobile, and the good news is that the page for purchasing the device has gone up on T-Mobile’s website. You can’t place an order (or pre-order) just yet, but it appears that things must be rolling along pretty nicely and should be set for the originally planned 11th of January 2012 launch of the device.
You ubergeeks reading this will think the Nokia Lumia 710 running Windows Phone 7.5 Mango, announced this morning and scheduled to go on sale from T-Mobile January 11 for $49.99 with a two-year deal, is lame. And, from a superficial spec point of view, you’d probably be right, especially when it’s compared to the recent rash of Android LTE superphones.
Nokia doesn’t have many Windows Phone devices. In fact, its first one, the Nokia Lumia 800 only hit the market recently. Well, it looks like the phone isn’t going to be so lonely anymore. Nokia has announced that starting today, the Nokia Lumia 710, which was unveiled at the same time as the Lumia 800, will be available for purchase. The phone will be available in select countries (US still […]
Ah, the wonders of a FCC document and the kind of information that it holds inside. A copy of the manual of the Nokia Lumia 710 that is available over at the FCC showed, without a shadow of doubt, that the Nokia Lumia 710, the lesser of the two recently introduced Windows Phone handsets, will be making its way to T-Mobile in due time. While the FCC filing happened on […]
Are you still wondering whether Nokia did the right thing by rolling out the Nokia Lumia range – the Lumia 710 and Lumia 800, at Nokia World 2011? I would think so, it is Nokia’s best chance to date to get out of their current doldrums, and what better way than to partner with Microsoft (although Android would have been better, heh!)? Gamers will definitely pause to take notice that […]
At Nokia World 2011 in London, Nokia has officially announced the Nokia Lumia 800 and Nokia Lumia 710 Windows Phone 7.5 handsets. They had leaked earlier, but we did learn about new things like Nokia Drive, a fully featured navigation app that comes with voice directions, out of the box, for free. Nokia has also talked about Nokia Music, a “super-easy” Internet radio application that doesn’t require an account, a […]
Fans of Nokia and who have been eagerly anticipating to see what the company has in store in terms of Windows Phone devices, it looks like the wait is over! After all that waiting we guess we’re glad that the Nokia Lumia 710 is now official, which was previously known by its codename Sabre, although they didn’t really reveal anything that wasn’t leaked out prior to the Nokia World event.
Nokia World is hours away, and it looks like the cat is out of the bag already (well, technically, the Nokia Lumia 800 had leaked last week, and it was even officially teased on U.K television). According to winrumors, Nokia is going to announce two Windows phones, the Nokia Lumia 800 and the Nokia Lumia 720. The Lumia 800 looks like a Windows Phone 7.5 (aka Mango) version of the cool-looking Nokia […]
