Samsung Electronics lifted the veil on its Bordeaux HDTV of the 2007 variety a couple of days ago, bringing form and function closer than ever before. Each of these new TVs come with a transparent base that reminds you of a crystal wine glass, adding a dash of sophistication that is often missing from other everyday consumer electronics. The Bordeaux comes with a wide 178-degree viewing angle, boasting a dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000 to 1 which is roughly double that of an ordinary TV in its class. You can pick up the 32″ and 40″ models for $1,710 and $2,570 respectively when it is available later next month.
