The Tamagotchi might be more than a decade old already, but Bandai has thrown in some new enhancements to keep the line fresh (for newcomers, at least). The Tamagotchi Jinsei now needs proper care, attention, love, and enough food and drink in order to function, but those actions also help your Tamagotchi secure a respectable job as well. I’m not too sure what Tamagotchis do for a living, but this idea definitely adds a grown-up dimension to toys. Each Tamagotchi Jinsei retails for $25 and comes with an infrared port that enables you to play games with other Tamagotchis as well as swap information.
