NFC a Bluetooth competitor

Forget about Bluetooth – Near Field Communication (NFC) is where it’s at. NFC is not exactly new in Japan, but a new version with faster transfer rate and a wider range of compatibility will be rolled out when the time comes. For the clueless, NFC is an alternative to Bluetooth, enabling users to perform tasks like music streaming from a cellphone to a nearby HiFi, of both which must be NFC-enabled. Imagine displaying photos taken with your cellphone on the TV without any wires, thanks to NFC. Other gadgets in the works includes a printer, making the step towards a truly wireless environment possible. With all these unseen frequencies floating around, will men (and women) live past 50 in years to come?
