Fancy a game of laser tag, except that this involves helicopters? A Chinese toy maker apparently stumbled upon this idea by arming the standard R/C helicopter with an IR transmitter and sensor, enabling a couple of these to engage in a dogfight whilst buzzing away in mid-air. There will be no prisoners taken, as a direct hit will result in power to your helicopter getting cut off, plunging it to the ground almost immediately. Sounds pretty cold – I’d suggest you play this with your mate at a park or a place that provides a soft landing. Unfortunately, there is no word on a U.S. distribution yet as at press time. They’d better get it here before summer hits full swing!
