Qrio from Korea is currently offering the Luxy G4 portable media player that offers entertainment on-the-go at a budget price. This $140 device comes with 4GB of flash memory, boasting a 2.4″ color TFT QVGA display at 320 x 240 resolution, support for MP3, WMA, and XviD file formats, a miniSD memory card slot for expansion options – all packed into a tiny aluminum body that weighs a mere 62 grams. The battery life could do with some improvement though, as it gives up the ghost at 3 hours for video and 7 hours for audio. This looks like a great entry level PMP, although don’t expect a user interface equal to that of Apple’s iPod in terms of simplicity and effectiveness.
