Pioneers in technology are often hit hard in the wallet, as evident by Wireless USB hubs that cost from $200 upwards (the Belkin Cable-Free USB Hub retails for $199). Not only that, you won’t see sales take off until a comfortable price point is reached, and in this case that particular point stands at the sub-$100 category. Another aspect for Wireless USB devices to improve upon would be the data transfer speed which currently stands at a paltry 50Mbps and 100Mbps tops – a far cry from the 480Mbps that wired USB connections boast. Have you made the jump to Wireless USB yet? If so, what are your reasons for (not) doing so?
