LG has just launched the DivX-certified Time Machine TV series that come in both plasma and LCD persuasions, being available to folks living in Europe, China and throughout the Asia-Pacific region. The three LCD and two plasma models are the 47LB5RE, 42LB5RT, and 37LB4RT and the 50PB4RT and 42PB4RT respectively. Features include an 80GB hard drive for Time Shift function, USB 2.0 connectivity for backup purposes, and support for MP3, JPEG and DivX formats. No idea on how much they’ll cost though, but it will probably be an antonym with ‘cheap’.
