Man, did you realize that the title above consists of words that start with the letter ‘P’? Trivia aside, we’re here to look at the PoGo portable photo printer from Polaroid that will be available to the masses later this summer after making a brief appearance at this year’s CES. This compact printer measures 4.7″ x 2.8″ x 0.9″ and does away with the need for ink cartridges, relying on Zero Ink technology and ZINK photo paper instead. It will feature Bluetooth connectivity for easy connection with your cell phones, while a FireWire-connected PictBridge helps it interface with digital cameras. Capable of pumping out a full color 2″ x 3″ photo in less than 60 seconds, the PoGo is certainly the modern equivalent of a Polaroid instant photo back in the last century. It will retail for $149 this July, while 10 sheets of ZINK paper will retail for nearly $4.
