Panasonic Unveils Two More Blu-ray Players

Panasonic has released two more Blu-ray players that are Internet-enabled so that users will be able to maximize their enjoyment out of BD Live-enabled discs. The two models in question are the DMP-BD80 and DMP-BD60 that come with the usual brouhaha of sound and image features, as users can also view YouTube videos and Picasa images on their HDTVs when they’re bored or waiting for the next Blu-ray release to arrive on store shelves. Both models will try to cater for the high end and middle class markets, with the DMP-BD80 focusing more on sound quality while the DMP-BD60 will offer basic functions instead. Shared features include :-

  • High-definition Audio Decoder (Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio Essential)
  • PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus technology
  • 1080p Up-Conversion
  • SD memory card slot
