Anti-Shark Device

Haeundae Beach in Busan, Korea, has been hailed to be one of the most famous summer vacation spots in that part of the world, but then again those waters do have the ocassional shark swim by which might result in an attack. Prevention is better than cure, so the authorities have decided to rely on a device that can drive away sharks by emitting a very strong electric pulse so that our finned friends will feel disorientated and move on to other waters, far away from folks frolicking in the waters. This 950-gram device is small enough to be attached to scuba diving gear apparatus, jet skis or buoys for enhanced safety whenever you enter unchartered waters. The internal battery pack can send out electric pulses with about a 5-meter radius for six to seven hours, and is good for depths of up to 45 meters below sea level.
