The VTube could very well be a rotten egg, but the price point and functions it packs within makes it a decent hard drive media player never mind the fact that it hails from China and doesn’t boast a recognizable brand name. It comes with enough space to hold a 2.5″ hard drive inside, but does not do full high definition, maxing out at 720p/1080i support. Other video formats supported by the VTube include DAT,MPG, VOB, TS, AVI, DivX and XviD. Connectivity options include a USB 2.0 port, an AV port and an HDMI port. Apart from that, you can hook up the VTube to your network wirelessly or via an Ethernet cable. Think that $132 (sans hard drive) is worth it?
