Slates could be the next big thing, and it is no surprise for us to uncover yet another slate device in the form of the Hott M700 which is powered by an ARM-based processor that is accompanied by a 7″ display. Strange choice for its operating system though with Windows CE 6.0 making an appearance instead of the more popular Windows Mobile. Apparently, the Hott M700 slate is touted to retail somewhere between $200 to $250, although seeing it arrive in the US market seems like a faraway dream at point of publishing as it seems more suited towards the China market. Apparently, there is also an Android-powered model in the process, but we’re not sure whether that will come to fruition with the current Chinese government and Google at loggerheads.
