Concept: Spatial Interaction Touchless Kitchen Tap

Water taps aren’t terribly exciting things, but if you have a gesture-controlled faucet for your modern home, that would really be something to impress the in-laws, wouldn’t it? The Spatial Interaction Touchless Kitchen Tap is quite cool. It’s milled out of a single block of Corian and is controlled by gestures. Gesturing to the left or right of the faucet controls the temperature of the water, while the speed of your gestures controls the rate of flow, finally you can also gesture to change the water from a single-stream to a shower output. Have you changed your mind about what your kitchen tap should look like now? Check out a video of it in action after the jump.
