With tablet computers and powerful smartphones running around the market nowadays, it’s interesting to see that some manufacturers still believe that there is still sufficient demand for MIDs (Mobile Internet Device). NEC seems to think so, as the company will be offering its N-08B, which is a phone/MID that is powered by the Windows CE operating system. Pricing hasn’t been announced just yet, but we know that it will be available on NTT DoCoMo this August. Specifications of the N-08B include:
- 4.6-inch 854 x 480 pixel display
- QWERTY keyboard
- Wi-Fi
- 3G
- microSD card expansion
- 3.1-megapixel camera
