Want a new electronic musical instrument that’s different from the rest? Maybe you might want to figure out a way to support the LinnStrument, created by Roger Linn. He’s the man behind the modern day drum machine. He started the design of this device back in 2006, intending to create a full multi-touch instrument that allowed you to use your fingers to dictate the volume, timbre, pitch and pressure. He was working with a company called TouchCo, but the startup was acquired by Amazon back in January, cutting off TouchCo’s involvement with others. Now Roger is busy looking to attract investors or another company that can help him finish this product. Check out an awesome video of the LinnStrument in action after the jump.
