Wortmann releases Terra Mobile 1020Go netbook with optional UMTS

Wortmann has just announced that they have a spanking new netbook for the masses, the Terra Mobile 1020Go model. This netbook trumpets standard fare such as a 10.1″ LED-backlit display, 1GB RAM, a 160GB hard drive, a memory card reader, Wi-Fi connectivity, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, an Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz processor alongside a NM10 Express chipset and GMA3150 integrated graphics. Just in case you want to make sure you get to surf the Internet wherever you are, you can always fork out more money (cost is unknown) for an additional UMTS module, while an optional external DVD burner helps you install all those non-USB flash drive files in a jiffy. It will come in two flavors – Windows 7 Starter and Windows 7 Professional versions that retail for 329 Euro and 479 Euro, respectively.10.1″ seems pretty small these days, don’t you think? We would have liked to see at least 11″ here.
