Google Exercises Its Android App Kill Switch

We already knew that Google and Apple are capable of remotely removing apps from their mobile operating systems, but it’s still quite scary to see such power actually being exercised. It’s been said that users will have a notification sent to them when an app is removed, but it’s still quite disturbing to know that you could wake up in the morning to find that your favorite app has been forcibly removed. How do you feel about such a move by Google (or Apple)?
