The Guitar Hero franchise has certainly come a long way since its inception, and the upcoming title, Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock will offer a controller redesign that is not only wireless, but will merge all of the electronics into the neck and fretboard. Basically, this means the body does not have the responsibility of holding sensitive electronics apart from looking good in your living room when you rock it out. Since there is no built-in circuitry, you are able to swap these guitar bodies at any time you want, which will be attached to the fretboard in a two-part wing formation.
