Google Introduces Gmail with Priority Inbox in Android Market

Before you whip out your device and start downloading the latest Gmail app update, which is now in Android Market rather than being tied to an actual OS or firmware update, the Gmail app update is Froyo only meaning that it will only be available for the EVO 4G, Droid Incredible, Droid, Droid 2, and Nexus One. Now, if you have those devices, gives you limited access to priority inbox, although Google is saying that they’re still working on support for this on HTC devices as some features may not work properly at this time, along with a floating actions panel that will give you access to important actions no matter where you are in the email. Additionally, you also get an option to see quoted text, like in the desktop version, which can give you context of the email response in case you need access to that. You can visit the Google blog for more details.
