SuperOneClick roots virtually all Android devices with a single click

Rooting one’s phone is not recommended by the carrier simply because it will void your warranty if anything goes wrong, but apart from that, non-power users should do all right without any rooting unless you want to really customize your handset down to the smallest detail. Well, SuperOneClick might just usher in a new era of rooting as it can root your Android-powered handset (yes, even Froyo) with but a single click. There is no comprehensive list on what models SuperOneClick will jive with, but we do know that the Nexus One, Motorola Droid and Samsung Captivate will fall to SuperOneClick in but an instant. It is Windows-only at the moment, but Mac and Linux should be getting theirs pretty soon.
