Facebook Confirms Outage

Facebook has become a large part of the Internet and it was probably disturbing to many folks that the site seemed to go down for a brief period a short while ago. The social networking site is already back online and the company has released a statement confirming the outage. The statement mentioned that some internal prototypes were made public to some folks externally and as a result the site was taken down for a few minutes. Regardless of the reason for the brief outage, the good news is that it’s back up and you can resume playing Farmville.
