Gigabyte’s latest Q2005 netbook will be powered by a dual-core Intel N550 processor, where we do think it is capable of delivering a decent level of performance although the screen’s resolution leaves much to be desired at 1024 x 600.  which is slowly become sub par in the 10.1-inch world. For some the lack of 1366 x 768 might be a deal breaker, but if you can get past that the profile and build quality at first glance seem very solid. Other hardware specifications include 1GB RAM that can be doubled when you have the dough (which is why you got a netbook in the first place, right?), a 250GB hard drive, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity, a VGA camera and the choice between a 3-cell battery or 6-cell unit. No idea on pricing though, but we do not think it will be out of most peoples’ reach.
