Kindle for iOS updated
Amazon has just released a new version of Kindle, their popular eBook reader/store app for iOS. New features of the app include: real page numbers for thousands of books so you can make proper citations in the classroom or follow along with people reading print books in a book club (no more feeling left out just because you have an eBook and everyone around you doesn’t), a progress meter to let you know how far you are in the book that you are currently reading, the homescreen also shows your current progress on your books on the iPhone (list view for the iPad), and you can look up words on Google or Wikipedia without having to leave the app – a much needed solution for those books with archaic phrases and flowery words, now knowing their true meanings is only a tap away.
