Pentax recently announced a spanking new limited edition Pentax K-r DSLR model that takes after the Japanese singer’s name, Bonnie Pink. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, this Bonnie Pink model is limited to just 100 units, and you can order said camera from the Pentax online shop from February 14, 2011 onwards till February 28. Should the order surpass 100 units, then a lottery system will kick into action, deciding which lucky 100 people will be able to bring this puppy home on March 14. Guess that alone will drive the market price up on eBay and other third party listings. Expect this limited edition model to ship with the Pentax 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 AL lens, while displaying a Bonnie Pink logo on the LCD monitor when turned on, costing you a cool $1,100 in the process.
