Don’t you just love the unlimited creativity of the human mind? That’s what is offered by the new design of a ski slope power station, where it will debut at Denmark thanks to the Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG). This will be a brave attempt to unify an industrial area and residential housing, where the project will actually transform the vast roofing expanse of the power station into an Alpine ski resort. Skiers can begin their downward exodus from the top of the smokestack, which incidentally intends to remind citizens of the impact of power consumption by pumping out smoke rings every time a ton of carbon dioxide is produced. Doesn’t sound like too healthy an environment to ski in though…
