Pentax seem to be taking the Nintendo DS route by offering a whole slew of limited edition models, and this time round, their K-r DSLR model will come in just an extremely limited quantity of just 1,000 pieces, sporting the cute little lazy bear that most Japanese love – the Rilakkuma. Retailing for around 95,000 Yen while carrying Pentax’s 18-55mm DA L lens, the Rilakkuma K-r will also ship with a proprietary boot-up and shutdown Rilakkuma wallpaper and will come in two tone brown colors. For those who are interested, you can place a pre-order from April 15th onwards, where it will hit the market only sometime in October later this year. Of course, here’s to looking forward to it hit the worldwide market as well, so make a beeline for the pre-order if you’re a collector of DSLRs!
