Mac OS X 10.7 Lion introduces multi-user screen sharing

Mac OS X 10.7 Lion will not only bring screen sharing to life, it will make it a multi-user experience – now how about that? This means Screen Sharing has grown up from being a relatively basic VNC remote screen viewer into a multiuser, Fast User Switching Remote Desktop solution that is not too different to what Microsoft is offering with their Terminal Services. Under Mac OS X 10.3 Panther, Apple has introduced Fast Users Switching to allow the system to support multiple users to be logged into their own graphical environment concurrently, and with Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, this integrated Screen Sharing feature will be bumped to version 1.3, letting remote users log into a separate user account.
