Amazon might be one of the giants in Internet retail sales at the moment, but that doesn’t mean they are content to remain where they are in the general pecking order. Word has reached our ears that Amazon is currently mulling over the idea of delivering a streaming movie service that will be tied to their own range of Amazon tablets, according to researchers over at Detwiler Fenton. The same research team says that Amazon’s streaming movie service will be made available to those who pick up Amazon’s tablet without having to fork out a cent – that’s right, it will be going for free.

Sounds like a no brainer either way, but it seems that such speculation is slowly taking shape and being fleshed out even as you read this. It is also tipped that Amazon’s tablets will boast deep integration with Amazon’s Cloud Locker streaming music service, while the Amazon Appstore will definitely be in the big picture, too. We look forward to the Amazon Coyote and Hollywood tablets – hopefully they will live up to expectations!
