Toshiba P700 Series

The new Satellite P700 Series consumer notebooks is a mid-range product line that features the new “FusionX2” texture, a pretty cool design experiment from Toshiba (see the close up picture after the jump). The P700 series offers more features and better performance than the new L700 Series, it is designed for performance and entertainment. Featuring either the second-gen Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 processors (some configurations get the NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M) or the new AMD APU A6-3400M with discreet-class GPU, the Satellite P700 series is equipped with harman/kardon speakers with sound enhancements from Dolby and Waves Audio. I listened to music and to a game, and I can tell that the sound is pretty good.

The Satellite P745, P755/P755 3D and P775 laptops feature 14-inch, 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch diagonal HD TruBrite LED backlit screens, respectively.
Satellite P745 (starting at $699.99 MSRP), Satellite P755 (starting at $629.99 MSRP) and Satellite P775 (starting at $629.99 MSRP) will be available at major retail outlets, e-tailers and Toshibadirect.com beginning June 21, 2011. The Satellite P750 3D offers stereoscopic 3D (active) on a a 15.6-inch diagonal 120Hz, 3D-ready HD TruBrite display with NVIDIA 3D Vision technology, it will retail for a starting price of $1,199.99 MSRP.
