Having the latest and greatest of anything, be it a car, computer or phone is something that nobody in their right mind would turn down. After all, it isn’t that sentimental as a teddy bear or other mementos, and since the tech world evolves so fast, don’t you think it would be great if you could be at the cutting edge of things all the time? That’s fine and dandy if you’re well heeled, but for the majority of us, we have to juggle a lot with our finances to make ends meet. The Android-powered tablet market can be said to be a fast expanding market, and with so many choices around, do you think there is room for one more? WIN Accord thinks so after sending their CT 704 tablet to the FCC. Find out more about it in the extended post.
The CT 704 tablet is a bare bones model, running on an 800MHz ARM Cortex A9 processor with 512MB RAM and 2GB of internal memory aiding it along. The 7″ touchscreen display maxes out oat 800 x 600 pixels, and good thing there is a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes.
Unfortunately, the CT 704 runs on only Android 2.2 Froyo, and we aren’t sure whether there are plans for a Gingerbread or Honeycomb update down the road. No idea on pricing, but it ought to reside in the low- to mid-range Android tablet market. What do you think?
