If you happen to be an owner of the LG Revolution while rocking on to Verizon’s LTE network, then here is some good news for you. There is a spanking new OTA (Over The Air) update for the LG Revolution – while it isn’t Android 2.3 Gingerbread, build VS910ZV6 also comes with a bunch of new apps, updates, and bugfixes which ought to keep you happy for the moment, at least until Android 2.3 Gingerbread rolls around.

Verizon will send you its latest VCAST media apps onto your LG Revolution, while offering relevant updates for a bunch of the pre-installed titles that are already on the smartphone.

So far, the bugfixes will address just about any serious problem associated with the Revolution, so you should no longer run into issues such as receiving the proper call notifications when in vibrate mode, the auto-correct not turning itself on by default at all times, and correctly displayed album art among others. No idea on when exactly the update will be released, but as Verizon has already put up its support page, the turnaround time should not be too far off in the future.
