HTC Desire S firmware update released

Are you living in Europe and use the Desire S as your smartphone of choice? If you are, then you will be pleased to hear that HTC Europe has just announced that folks who rely on the HTC Desire S as their primary tool of communication in that part of the world will finally be on the receiving end of the latest firmware update via Over The Air (OTA). Just make sure that you accept the terms and conditions before proceeding with this update, and as usual, make a backup of all your data beforehand as well as rely on a Wi-Fi network to download the update – it is far more stable than using your 3G connection, not to mention saving you data charges as well if you are not on an unlimited plan.

No idea on whether this latest firmware update will have any bugs upon installation or not, but it is not likely to happen. Still, you can never quite tell when Murphy is going to strike, as he has been pretty random these days.
