CES 2012 is right around the corner, and we are getting our “engines” warmed up for the event – so do expect to see a smorgasbord of gadget news come your way by the end of this week. Velocomp’s latest efforts has yielded the first intelligent cycling computer in the world that is smart enough to adjust your exercise goals, and the iBike Powerhouse as it is known, will be announced and revealed to the world at CES 2012. Velocomp’s website failed to garner any additional information or images of the iBike Powerhouse, so what you see on the right is actually the iBike Dash CC that we covered sometime in the middle of last year. More on the iBike Powerhouse after the jump.

Before you sweat it out with the iBike Powerhouse, just choose a goal-based plan, from “iSlim,” “Express Fitness,” “Brazilian Butt,” “Kid Fit,” “Weekend Warrior,” “Zero to 50 miles in 3 weeks,” and “Healthy Heart” (amongst numerous others that can be picked up via in-app purchases), where across a month to a month and a half, the iBike Powerhouse will urge you forward to your goals, guiding you through a series of 45-90 minute bike rides. Each ride is accompanied by the relevant instructions for you to pedal at the right levels of effort, so that everyone will be encouraged to improve themselves regardless of their initial starting point. The iBike Powerhouse will retail for $269, where it comes with the case, electronics, Powerhouse app, speed/cadence sensor, iSlim Plan, and mounting system.
