The Segway certainly occupies a niche market, and perhaps this is where the Personal Rover might want to enter the fray – as an electronic transport device that is easy to use, highly efficient and making you look as though you hail from the future instead of some dorky looking dude. The Personal Rover comes with trigger handle acceleration and navigational turning control, where you navigate through the landscape by simply tilting your body to the left or right, making it feel as though you are performing slalom skiing, although the adrenaline rush is not going to be there. It is said that just a few minutes are all it takes to learn all there is to navigating with the Personal Rover, and how hard can it get when all you need to do is pull the trigger to move along with its two vertical handles?

A powerful 800W motor drives the Personal Rover, and with a low center of gravity and 10” off-road pneumatic wheels, it delivers instinctive control and maneuverability. A full charge on the 36V lead-acid rechargeable battery is able to see you “travel” for up to 12 miles at a top speed of up to 15 mph. Best of all is, you do not need a driving license to potter around in this. The asking price? $848 a pop.
