Adobe Lightroom 4Adobe Photoshop Lightroom users will be excited to know that Adobe has released a new version of the program. Bring it up to version 4, Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 features new adjustment controls for maximizing dynamic range from cameras, new and improved auto adjustments to dynamically set values for exposure and contrast, and additional local adjustment controls including Noise Reduction, Moire and White Balance. Users also get a new Book module for creating photobooks, a Map module for displaying images already assigned a location, location tagging, reverse geo-tagging, and more.

There is also native video support for folks who want to extract shots from video clips, as well as some video-specific presets and standard Lightroom image adjustment controls can now be applied to video clips. Users also get the ability to export them as H.264 files or publish them directly to Facebook or Flickr.

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 is available now for Mac and Windows with a street price of $149 or $79 for folks who are upgrading from a previous version. Head over to Adobe’s website to find out more.
