Time sure flies by quickly – it has been 10 years since Ratchet & Clank arrived on the PS2, and as the 10th anniversary of Ratchet & Clank approaches, Sony decided to commemorate the achievements of the dynamic duo by announcing the Ratchet & Clank 10th Anniversary Celebration that kicks off with The Ratchet & Clank Collection. This particular collection will comprise of Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, and Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal, where they have been remastered by Idol Minds that worked hand in hand with the team at Insomniac Games. Apart from introducing (or should I say, re-introduction) the collection in full 1080p glory, alongside 720p stereoscopic 3D support, there are also three Platinum Trophies thrown into the mix as well.

Online competitive multiplayer from Up Your Arsenal will also be included for your gaming pleasure, and you are also able to check out the acclaimed multiplayer mode which many wished they could have enjoyed originally on the PS2 at first. Expect to pick up this particular collection when fall arrives in North America. No idea on pricing, and definitely later than the spring release in Europe, but good things always comes to those who wait, right?
