Apple stores reportedly exchanging white 16GB iPhone 4’s with refurbished iPhone 4S’
Supposedly supply constraints for the white 16GB iPhone 4 is so bad that Apple has reportedly instructed its Genius Bar workers to replace customers’ white 16GB iPhone 4 models with the iPhone 4S when applicable. Before you think that you could find yourself getting a “free” upgrade from an iPhone 4 to an iPhone 4S, the iPhone 4S models that will be given to customers will be refurbished units, but either way a slightly faster processor, a better camera and the inclusion of Siri could be a welcome upgrade even if it is in the form of a refurbished product. Not all Apple stores have received this order and supposedly it only affects Apple stores in the US and Canada and only if your iPhone 4 is damaged and completely non-functional while still under warranty.
