Good news HTC Desire S and Desire HD users, thanks to HTC launching the One V, it looks like you guys are on the receiving end of a new ROM. This is courtesy of XDA forum member proxuser who has managed to port over an almost complete ROM from the HTC One V. While the ROM is still a work in progress, Desire S and Desire HD users will be pleased to learn that the working list is greater than the not-working list, which at the moment includes the camera, WiFi hotspot and USB tethering features. While we’re sure that some users will want all these features up and running, the core features such as data and radios are up and running, making this ROM stable enough for daily use. In any case, HTC Desire S and Desire HD users will be able to find the download links and instructions at their respective forums. In the mean time check out the video above for a demonstration of the ROM in action.
