Lego Land Rover Defender 110 shows that anything is possible

Adidas is correct – impossible is nothing, and if you are able to construct a fully working Land Rover Defender 110 (in a 1:8.5 scale, of course) using mostly Lego bricks, you too, would believe what Adidas has marketed to the masses some time ago. This is a fully functioning Land Rover Defender 110 which will not run on fuel, but rather, have a built-in battery and can be controlled remotely. Boasting a five-speed transmission with reverse, it also features a two-speed transfer case that delivers four-wheel and two-wheel drive modes, functional disc brakes on all four corners, as well as a fully functional steering which requires a similar amount of turns-to-lock as with the real life version. With over 2,700 parts in total to build the final creation, I dread to count the number of man hours it requried. It has a top speed of approximately 2.5mph, and I am quite sure that it will not make its way through the Dakar Rally in any way, so your backyard will have to do.
