The figure continues to climb steadily – in December last year, we looked at 700,000 plus Android activations daily, and just in February this year, the number of Android activations each day has passed the 850,000 mark. I guess since a rolling stone gathers no moss, you can be quite sure that the Android operating system does not have any moss attached to it at all, having surpassed the 900,000 activation mark daily now, according to Andy Rubin. Andy also proceeded to debunk rumors in the same tweet that he will not be leaving Google anytime soon in order to take over another startup, so those who are lifelong fans of Google can heave a sigh of relief. After all, Andy Rubin had always been the go to guy where Android is concerned, so if he were to leave Google, that would most probably deal a huge blow before Google I/O happens this year. Are you part of the 850,000 statistic today as you unwrapped your spanking new Samsung Galaxy S3?
