Just like the HTC Thunderbolt which we talked about earlier this morning concerning an unofficial Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich ROM leak, here we are with a leaked ROM of Ice Cream Sandwich for the Droid Incredible 2 from Verizon Wireless, where HTC Sense 3.6 will also be thrown into the mix. Installing this leaked ROM will see your Android version bumped up to 4.0.4, although there are no promises that nothing will go awry with your smartphone. I suppose you do know the potential dangers of installing an unverified ROM on your smartphone – it might just end up bricking it.

Needless to say, it makes perfect and good sense to perform a backup of your Droid Incredible 2 beforehand, just in case Murphy decides to strike and wipe out all data on your device. There is a chance of installing the leaked ICS ROM without the need for a firmware update, although there are no guarantees that you can boot it up or get the other stuff working perfectly fine.
