The folks at Canon Price Watch have managed to get their hands on what appears to be the Canon PowerShot G15, leaving us to wonder what happened to the models in between the G12. Either way specs of the camera cannot be confirmed yet, but if the rumors are to be believed, its specs are said to be close with its predecessor, the G12, although it will feature the DIGIC V processor and a faster lens with an f/1.8 aperture that will undoubtedly aid in low-light photography without the need for flash (when possible). It also appears that the built-in flash will be a popup one as well. Perhaps Canon will reveal the G15 at Photokina which will be taking place next week, so if you’re in the market for a prosumer-level compact camera, then check back with us next week where hopefully we will have additional details to share with you.
