Kim Dotcom Promises A New, Legally-Secure MegaUpload

Kim Dotcom, the famed founder of the fallen MegaUpload, doesn’t seem dejected over his recent losses. Rather, he seemed all the more determined to take game a notch higher. Doctom recently posted on his Twitter account that he would is working on developing a new MegaUpload which would be legally secure.

Doctom said that he is collaborating with “24/7 with lawyers, developers, designers, investors & partners” right now, and that as a result of this collaboration, he will eventually launch an ‘ultimate’ version of MegaUpload.
The original MegaUpload fell to the accusation of copyright infringement. A follower asked Dotcom if we can expect something similar to happen to the touted ‘ultimate’ MegaUpload. To this, he replied, “that will be IMPOSSIBLE. Trust me!”

Dotcom’s ambitions don’t seem to end there. Rather, he further stated that he will soon rehire the 220 employees who had been working for MegaUpload before it was taken down by the authorities. In fact, he promises these employees a pay raise when (and if) he rehires them.

He also throws in a little enticement for the users. For those who had a premium membership at MegaUpload, he promises that he would “have their premium status transferred to the new Mega, with a bonus on top.” Naturally, the premium members of the former MegaUpload would be eagerly waiting for the relaunch of the site. — Are you looking forward to this?
