It looks like apart from the recently announced HTC J Butterfly, HTC’s take on the phablet, it looks like the Taiwanese company has another device up their sleeves although we expect that we will only be seeing it come 2013. The handset was spotted in benchmarks and has been given the codename, Operaul. We highly doubt that this will be the final name, but it is definitely a name to keep an eye out for as we expect that it could make a couple more appearances in the future. So what are we looking at here? Well for starters you will be pleased to learn that it will come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on board, a 1280×720 display, and a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8930 dual-core processor with an Adreno 305 GPU on board, suggesting that this could be a mid-ranged device. It has been speculated that the name of the device could actually be called Opera, with the UL suffix referring to LTE/WCDMA/GSM compatibility. Either way we’ll keep an eye out for more news regarding the HTC Operaul, so check back with us at a later date for more updates!
