The mystery behind HTC’s Droid DNA ended early this week when Verizon finally announced it. We even did a hands-on of the device in case you missed it. But one question remains – will HTC introduce the Droid DNA outside the U.S. anytime soon? Well, apparently EvLeaks holds the answer. The surreptitious informant has just posted an image of a familiar HTC smartphone on Twitter, along with the caption “HTC Deluxe, global edition.”

Now that’s a head turner because if you can still recall, we’ve been hearing about an HTC device with the codename DLX in the past. The leaked image could be it. We could be looking at the international version of the Droid DNA here. Unfortunately, as with other previous leaks, the details are very scarce. We can only bet on the “HTC Deluxe, global edition” caption for now. The HTC Droid DNA on Verizon features a 5-inch 1080p display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, LTE connectivity, an 8-megapixel camera, a 2500mAh battery, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It’s possible that the HTC Deluxe will inherit these features as well.
