Good news Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 owners – if you are still using the tablet and have not upgraded to a newer device like the Nexus 7 or Nexus 10, you might be interested that your experience on your tablet could be changing in the near future. It seems that Samsung is rolling out the Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean up to WiFi models of the Galaxy Tab 2. If you have received the notification, you can start updating it OTA or through the Samsung KIES software. Unfortunately according to folks at SamMobile, the update is only available in France at the moment, so for those stateside or in other parts of the world will have to wait. No word on when the update will begin making its way to other countries but at least it’s still good news as soon Galaxy Tab 2 owners will be able to enjoy the features of Jelly Bean, namely Project Butter which should make the Android experience a lot better and smoother.
