Residents of the UK might be pleased to learn that HTC has announced the One SV for your market. No word on pricing just yet, but according to HTC the device is expected to be available in the next few weeks via selected operators, retailers and distribution partners. It’s not the most powerful handset from HTC, but it does feature some relatively modest specs packaged into a rather elegantly designed body. For starters customers can look forward to a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, a 4.3” Super LCD2 touchscreen display, a 5MP rear-facing camera, a 1.6MP front-facing camera, NFC capabilities, Beats Audio integration and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The rest of the phone’s specs might be more acceptable if the phone came with at least Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, but hopefully an update won’t be too far behind. The HTC One SV will also feature 4G LTE connectivity, so if you’re looking for an affordable Android smartphone with LTE capabilities, this might be one of your options.
